How to enable the Spam Blocker
How to turn on the Spam Blocker and move spam, cold outreach, and other junk out of your inbox
On this page
The Spam Blocker catches what your email provider lets through: cold outreach, mailing lists you've already unsubscribed from, and the sneaky spam that slips past their filters. We move it all out of your inbox automatically.
Turn on the Spam Blocker
- Go to the Spam Blocker page.
- Switch the toggle at the top of the page to Enabled.
- The first time you do this, we'll explain what's about to happen. Click I understand to turn it on.
The Spam Blocker is included on every plan. If you're on the free plan, we'll ask you to choose a plan first.
Where blocked emails go
By default we move blocked emails to a folder called _lma-shield/spam, so you can still open them in your mail client.
What's next?
- See How does the Spam Blocker work? for how we decide what to block.
- Use Customising the Spam Blocker to change how strict we are, or to block cold emails and adult content.
