Step 3: Scanning for emails

Find out more about how we scan your account for subscription emails

At this point, you should have connected your email account and chosen your default settings.

Now we’ll start scanning your mailbox for subscriptions and newsletters! - This could take a few minutes, so feel free to go grab a coffee whilst you wait. ☕️

Specifically, we’ll scan your mailbox from the past 6 months. In our experience, usually emails sent before this can safely be ignored. This is because it’s likely that these mailing lists are no longer active (or you’ve already unsubscribed). But rest assured if it does fire up again, we’ll catch the new email and you’ll be able to unsubscribe as usual.
