How can I unblock a sender or email?

The first step is finding out how to unblock a sender is finding out where it has been blocked by Leave Me Alone. Use the top right search bar:

E.g. in this case hi@getcroissant.com has been unsubscribed and added to the unsubscribes blocklist.

Clicking on the unsubscribe or the blocklist in this case will take you to the unsubscribe item or the blocklist item. You can unblock the sender from both places.

If the sender is on a blocklist you can check and manage senders on your blocklists here. To remove a sender click remove and confirm:

If a sender is blocked because you unsubscribed from it then you can undo the unsubscribe action which will remove it from the unsubscribe blocklist and remove any filters we may have created. Learn more about undoing an unsubscribe here.

If a sender is blocked by the screener you’ll need to change the view to see the blocked ones. By default the Mail List shows you new mail, waiting to be actioned. But by adjusting the first filter at the top of the page to “blocked”, we can see all the previously blocked senders.

We can then “unblock” them by clicking the “block forever” button again to unselect this action.

If the sender is not set to block forever or on a blocklist then your screener may be set to block all new emails. You can check this setting from the shield preferences.

You can either specifically allow the sender or if you don’t want to manage which emails are allowed into your inbox each day you can set to allow all and only senders on blocklists will be blocked.

If you don’t want to manage individual senders or review new emails each day then you can disable shield completely.
