Once you've connected your accounts you'll start to see your subscription emails in Leave Me Alone. If you didn't connect any accounts yet then do [go here](/doc/step-1-connecting-your-first-email-account-x94MSJtaAA) and that first!

To unsubscribe from the emails you don't want just click the unsubscribe button and we'll take care of the rest.

![Click Unsubscribe to unsubscribe from an email!](/api/attachments.redirect?id=2167c38e-75f3-4553-91ea-7d1a6385cd8e " =890x208")

### How we unsubscribe you

We use metadata (information that your email client doesn't show you) of your emails to find the unsubscribe link and remove you from the list automatically.

![Leave Me Alone successfully unsubscribed from Quora emails and shows you the response](/api/attachments.redirect?id=2aae5ee8-6a05-4873-a612-f5e5b15f911e " =2008x924")

If there's no unsubscribe link, we send a removal request on your behalf from a unique address that identifies your subscription. The sender receives this as a standard unsubscribe request.

![Leave Me Alone unsubscribed from AngelList emails by sending an email.](/api/attachments.redirect?id=0eebf220-1449-474b-9f1f-d92858698d91 " =1128x556")

### Where are my unsubscribed emails

You can find unsubscribed emails in the **unsubscribed** filter:

 ![](/api/attachments.redirect?id=7629459c-6260-490a-b7a6-4a228f34f5a7 " =1988x1546")

### What if it doesn't work

Most unsubscribes happen within a few minutes. Some senders, especially those where we had to send an email request, can take a few days to process.

If you're still getting emails after a week, [get in touch](mailto:support@leavemealone.com) and we'll look into it.
